Well being Canada says about hundreds of ‘electrical radiant warmth cooktops’ manufactured by U.S.-based Whirpool, KitchenAid and JennAir are affected.
The company says the cooktop’s heating components could activate by themselves.
The recall applies to 24″, 30″, and 36″ cooktops with ceramic glass surfaces.
