In accordance with the police, Bhaskar had contacts within the Railway Recruitment Board and thus plotted to dupe children by promising jobs within the Railways.
“Bhaskar and his associates collected authentic schooling certificates of aspirants and issued faux provide letters, medical memos and appointment orders. The gang collected big cash from them. When stress mounted on them, they went absconding,” Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat mentioned, including that the victims approached the Delhi Police and filed a grievance.
Bhaskar, on realizing that he was below police radar shifted to Mumbai and sometimes got here to Hyderabad, the place he gathered 16 college students by promising them jobs in Railways and the Meals Company of India.
“College students, largely from Hyderabad, Jawaharnagar and Karimnagar have been his victims. He collected about Rs.93.5 lakh from them and issued faux appointment orders and identification playing cards,” Bhagwat mentioned.
With the duped cash, Bhaskar spent a lavish life by buying expensive vehicles and dwelling in luxurious resorts. The gang had duped job aspirants to the tune of Rs.10 crore from individuals in Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, and West Bengal, police mentioned, including that Bhaskar was earlier concerned in dishonest individuals within the guise of promoting panchaloha idols and rice pulling gadgets.
