The Ministry of Railways on Wednesday stated 1,213 railway stations, out of 1,253 recognized for the upgradation, modernisation, and augmentation underneath the Adarsh Station Scheme, have been developed.
The Ministry stated it formulated varied developmental schemes equivalent to Mannequin, Trendy and Adarsh Station Schemes for the upgradation modernisation, augmentation of stations on Indian Railways together with stations in varied small and massive cities.

“Presently, Railway stations are upgraded, modernized underneath Adarsh Station Scheme primarily based on recognized want of offering better-enhanced passenger facilities at stations. 1253 railway stations over Indian Railways have been recognized for improvement underneath Adarsh Station Scheme.
