Dubai-based service Emirates has indefinitely suspended flights to 9 US locations beginning Wednesday, January 19.
The 9 locations are: Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Dallas Fort Value (DFW), Houston (IAH), Miami (MIA), Newark (EWR), Orlando (MCO), San Francisco (SFO) and Seattle (SEA).
It mentioned that clients holding tickets with the ultimate vacation spot to any of the above is not going to be accepted on the level of origin.
Nevertheless, Emirates flights to New York JFK, Los Angeles (LAX) and Washington DC (IAD) will proceed to function as scheduled.
In an announcement posted on its web site, the service mentioned that suspension was “on account of operational issues related to the deliberate deployment of 5G cell community companies within the US at sure airports.”
“We’re working intently with plane producers and the related authorities to alleviate operational issues, and we hope to renew our US companies as quickly as potential,” it added.
Emirates flights to New York JFK, Los Angeles (LAX) and Washington DC (IAD) proceed to function as scheduled.
The airline mentioned that affected clients don’t must contact the airline instantly for rebooking. They will maintain on to their Emirates ticket and when flights resume, can join with the airline to make new journey plans.
